What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
Initially star like, in size shape and colour.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
It was to the West of me, travelling in a Northernly direction, at a constant speed. About five seconds into the contact, it became very bright and seemed to increase in size, and then slowly dimmed until it had dissapeared, still travelling at the same speed.
Any additional comments:
I am an ex member of the Army Air Corps, having spent 7 years as groundcrew, finishing my last two years within the Air Corps, working as a junior NCO for the Apache Longbow Helicopter. I believe it was not an aircraft, as there were no anti collision, or navigation lights. The weather was very clear, with a very good visibility. At the time and date stated, I was not intoxicated.
