extremely bright green light at least 30,000 feet altitude
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
hovered for about 2 or 3 seconds, then took off as if it were leaving the Earths atmosphere, leaving a faint green tracer behind

When my friends and I talk about our glorious high school days, one of us is sure to mention that time we saw the UFO. I have no idea what it could have been, but I know it was not of this world
