High above in the night sky, appeared as two bright lights

There were 2 lights. They seemed to be flying side by side and zig zagging.
Any additional comments:
I was with a freind walking home. We had stopped to rest as it was a long way. We were both looking skywards. At first we didnt say anything to each other, then my friend said, "please tell me you saw that" We dont mention it often.
