CSIGHTING DETAILS

1

What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:

orange/yellow light sources 10 in number flying in a random pattern south to north at an elevation of +- 30 degs. The sky was clear in area of first sighting but the objects finally disappeared behind cloud to the north.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:

The objects moved at a constant speed - fairly slowly - and barely changed from the ramdom pattern first observed. There was no increase in speed or rapid changes in direction

Any additional comments:

These objects had the colour of military flares - Heytesbury is on the edge of Salisbury Plain - but appeared from the south way before the southern most boundary of the Plain. These were not flares. Flares when observed thro binos reveal the parachute and smoke trail, these had none of these attributes. All the objects were identical with the same appearance, colour and density. There was no pulsation or sound. Because the night was so clear it is difficult to assess distance, but they were several miles away. Thgey appeared very similar to footage I have seen from the US where, I think, 9 lights were hovering over a mountain range.
