Silver globe, high in the sky. No lights.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
The UFO hovered high up in the sky, too high for a helicopter.
Any additional comments:
An RAF high altitude fighter approached the position where the UFO was - just after I lost sight of the UFO. The fighter was on a direct bearing for the UFO and the fighter veered off very sharply to the left, leaving it's trail of white smoke.
