a black circle ball then went to a long tube like shape the had different coloured lights along it.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:

i got my binoculers out & watched it doing like cart wheels or vertical flips..then it dissapeared and re-appeared alot further away

Any additional comments:

by the time i got my camera out it was just a small black ball but still took a photo, my camcorders battery was flat so not used
