SIGHTING REPORT UFO sighting at Lasalle, Quebec, CANADA

Triangular, of sorts (as its corners were somewhat rounded), with primary coloured (Red, Yellow, Blue) lights at bottom (Only saw its bottom angle/view). Lights were initially immobile and then triangle started spining so lights merged, as if only one circle of light, by reaction.

Craft seemed to lower when I noticed it. There was a light, barely audible humming sound. Craft then started spining on spot, making its lights create a light circle by reaction. It (said craft) then took off at immense speed, vertically, and then shot off horizontally (like a bat outta hell), going Westward in the sky. I'm a pilot. There's no way we ever had anything, able to go that fast, back in those days (1979). Even today... I very much doubt any existing man-made craft could ever go as fast as the craft I saw, back in 1979.

Couldn't tell you how long this experience lasted as I lost track of time. I was mesmerized, almost hypnotized, by its lights (Red, Yellow and Blue) and felt "pulled in" when craft took off vertically, spinning on itself, making its lights create a spining circle under it, because of its motion. Don't know how much time elapsed... It was my eighteenth birthday... I was resting on the park's bleachers, somewhat depressed about becoming an adult, looking up at the sky, just a tad before Dinner time, maybe around 4:30PM (16:30HRS) or so. I remember my Mom being somewhat miffed with me because I'd showed up kind of late for Dinner (and she had made a cake and invited people over and stuff, for my benefit) I think I got home around 7PM that night... Weird... Now that I recall the incident, I had never thought I'd spent that much time looking at this craft. Oh and, being a Bookworm and somewhat of a Geek, I've never done drugs or alcohol, so... I saw what I saw and I haven't told many people about it either.

Well... That's my input. It would be nice to be able to manipulate your database's cells so as to be able to place it in order of date and/or location - if only to see if others have seen this craft on that same date and location (Just a thought)
