What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
there was no discernable shape that i could see , only 2 square brilliant red and green lights very close together if not actually touching .
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
it was motionless for a few minutes , and the lights would alternate on and off .
Any additional comments:
the object ommitted no sound , it moved upwards then sped off in an easterly direction and stopped i estimated over the town of middlesbrough , where it hovered for a while then shot off out over towards the north sea very very fast . it was my brother who allerted me to the object ,and i and my family were observing the object together . by the time i had got my bino,s the object had gone from darlington to over middlesbrough in 1 to 2 seconds
