CSIGHTING DETAILS
What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
It was a round shaped object with white lights rotating around the bottom half of the object. I could not see the color of the object, due to the distance and cloud of dust or smoke surrounding the object.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
Yes, the object was hovering close to the ground and gradually lifted up into the air, and a sudden burst of smoke or dust surrounded the object, thereafter the smoke or dust covered the view of the object, and once it cleared, within minutes, the object was gone.
Any additional comments:
As the object was gone from sight, I looked down into the valley and there were vehicles that were parked off the side of the road, also watching the object. Later, in the evening there were reports of the object, but officials reported them as missle launches. The week thereafter, there were several reports of sightings throughout the area, within a 60 mile radius of the night I saw the object.
