What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
My partner was the one who actually saw it. "It appeared at extremely high speed from the west and went diagonally across the windscreen of my car. I thought at first it was a falling star it was going so fast, but then it came to a complete standstill without slowing first. It hovered and then I lost sight of it. It had green lights sequentially flashing along its full length and was an oval shape, but on end"
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
It came to an abrupt stop from extremely high speed and then hovered before being lost from sight
Any additional comments:
I have to say firstly that my partner does not 'believe' in UFO's. We live in an area of fairly high military jet activity and I was in the RAF for a number 17 years. From the way she described it to me and the speed it was doing I do not recognise it as an aircraft type that I have ever come across
