bright orange flashing strobe ball

was static for approx 15 minutes then shot off diagonally.

i was driving back home with my daughter after shopping. i dont know why but i became aware of an orange strobing orb off to my left hand side. i pointed this out to my daughter and we both watched it, obviously i was also driving so my daughetr watched it more than me. i kept asking if it was moving or doing anything else, but she just reported that it was flashing on and off at super speed. we came to a busy roundabout where i was able to watch it more closely. within approx 30 seconds it shot off diagonally and totally disappeared from sight. that night i got a call from a friend who had been working in luton with his son.. before he said too much i stopped him and explained that i knew what he was going to say as i had seen it too... spooky , even unbelievable you might think, but the time sighting description and its movements were the exact same.
