SIGHTING REPORT UFO sighting at North Lexington County SC

Round shape, about normal airplane size at 1200 feet, solid color, would blink off, then reappear, orangish yellow

First sighting from East, disappeared, within seconds reappeared covering approximately 10 degrees of horizon, disappeared, reappeared, another 10 degrees, then off into the west. A couple of minutes when it reappeared, going through the same routine only from the southwest to the northeast, appearing directly overhead, then disappearing to reappear 90 degrees from last sighting, then disappearing, then reappearing, disappearing quickly, to reappear as if it had slowed down, then stopped to disappear and reappear in the same proximity for two or three blinks, then speedily going through the disappear reappear routine off to the east. Several minutes passed thus we were thinking it had gone when it reappeared off on the northwestern horizon, smaller in size as if off to the distance, through the trees, thus lending some credibility to its coming closer to the earth. It disappeared to reappear again from the East and this time it appeared to blink off and on frequently as if climbing straight upwards to become the size of a small star before disappearing again. It then reappeared and continued to flit back and forth across the sky, blinking on and off, climbing, with appearances of zooming downward, across the horizon, then back and forth from various directions.

Never seen anything like this before. It had speed, it had ability to climb, appearing to have the capability of hovering, and diving. No fuzzy features around the disk, no blinking lights, only appearing and disappearing. No known search lights out. Besides, I have seen many search lights and none that did the things this object did.
