What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
Thre were two UFO'S.
The first was a sphere of light looked like a planet in the sky.
About 2 meter away(to my visual eye)was the second UFO. A bright luminouse green light flashing on and off. The green light was so bright it illuminated all the surrounding streets. I have some poor photographs to support my findings.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
No, remained as discribed above. Due to the severe whether conditions and early hours of the morning when it was sighted I went home. There was a group of people gathered watching it further down the street who may have more information.
Any additional comments:
Never seen anything like it. Tried to wake family up to get them to see this strange phenomenon but they would not get up!
