CSIGHTING DETAILS
What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
Three discs all the same size aluminum color
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
The three discs were in a triangle formation equidistant from each other, rotating slowly in a clockwise direction directly over head. The altitude was impossible to judge without any visual reference.

During the summer of 1973 I was camped in the desert just south of Edwards AFB. I awakened during the predawn hour and as I lay in my sleeping bag I noted three discs overhead reflecting an aluminum color, like that of many aircraft, in a triangle formation equidistant from each other and moving together slowly in a clockwise rotation. They continued in this manner for about ten minutes, and then the formation began in unison and still maintaining that equidistant formation slowly moving north when suddenly all three accelerated rapidly as if on cue and nearly instantly disappeared from sight. In all the years since I have not read or heard about an identical sighting and this is the reason for my telling of it now. Perhaps it may add to the body of knowledge about UFOs.
