Bright orange, fire like appearance. Seemed to be irregular, flickering light.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:

Smoothly, silently, went from left to right, quicker than normal planes. Then it disappeared.

It was so bright it caught my eye and I was drawn to watch it.
