CSIGHTING DETAILS
What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
Four spherical objects moving slowly across the sky in a sort of linear formation (stacked in a vertical line). They were high in the sky but looked much larger than any of the stars so cannot have been satellites. They were glowing - orangey colour like glowing coals. I thought they must be meteors as there have been meteor showers this weekend just passed, but they were travelling much too slowly. I woke my partner up and he came to the window to see them too. He's adamant they weren't meteors because of the lack of speed. Also, they remained high in the sky, not falling. They were travelling from west to east along the coast, probably just about over the sea (we live high up so can see down to the coast).
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
No, they were travelling fairly slowly and in a rough formation which they pretty much kept to as they moved across the sky. Did not hear any noise, such as aircraft noise. No visible trail left either.
