CSIGHTING DETAILS
What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
It looked very similar to the ufo in the tv series UFO, or maybe one of those cowls which you see on the top of chimney pots to deflect the wind. It was over the sea, maybe 100 yards out from the shore, and more or less at eye level. It did not look very big, there were no lights on it, it was silver in colour and it spun round, or perhaps just the middle part was spinning.There was no sound from it. It was a lovely sunny day and it was perfectly visible.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
It just hung in the sky, spinning.
Any additional comments:
This occurrence has bothered me ever since it happened. I was in the car with my husband and four children and we all saw this thing, whatever it was. I would have liked to have stayed and watched it for longer, but my husband and older son were really spooked by it, and my husband just drove off.
