Any additional comments:
I've been trying to find out more about what we witnessed last night while out for a meal (in Mildenhall, Suffolk, England).
In the black sky, there was a string of lights that moved slowly and silently across the sky, almost in a straight line. Bright at first, then they faded out. I only saw them in the last few minutes, but my husband was watching from outside the restaurant and saw scores of them.
He kept gesturing for the rest of our dinner party to come outside and "look at the UFO's". We thought he was joking at first. We were fascinated and unanimously agreed we had never see anything like it before.
Have there been any other reports or an explanation as to what this strange occurrence was? The lights were most definitely not from an airplane - one person thought they would have been hot air balloons with lights. That was highly unlikely considering the pattern of formation.
I would be intrigued to know more.
Thank you for your time. I look forward to hearing from you.
