CSIGHTING DETAILS
What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
The object was bright orange, and basically just a oval blob, abit like a street light. It appeared to have vertical orange lit poles.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
The object moved slowly across the horizon in front of me, travelling about the same speed as a light aircraft, then seemed to turn away from me, and the orange light disappeared.
Any additional comments:
As already mentioned, it looked the size of a light aircraft, and the speed of a light aircraft, but was just a large bright orange light. There was no sound at all. It could clearly be seen as it was still pitch black at that time. It can't have been more than 300ft off the ground. Looking to my left and up, I could see normal airliners flying on their normal flightpath arounf 20,000ft up I should imagine, and these were much higher, and less bright (could only see faint white lights), but I could hear them as it was really peaceful at this time of the morning.
