CSIGHTING DETAILS

What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
Four dim points of light (or perhaps shapes reflecting light pollution). Three formed an equilateral a triangle shape, pointing in the direction of travel, with the additional point ahead and slightly to the left hand side (as they flew) - but it looked as if the triangle split up as they started to disappear into the light pollution over Basingstoke

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
Left blank

Any additional comments:
This was spotted while I was photographing the lunar eclipse. At first I thought I was looking at an aeroplane, but then I realised that the lights/reflection were a) too dim, b) were all the same dull reddish brown colour (similar in colur to the moon at the time) and c) none were flashing. The lights/reflection made no sound that I could hear.
So far I have discounted:
a) fast low flying aicraft. The police spotter plane flew over about an hour later and was clearly visible and audible.
b) birds reflecting street light. Too fast and to regular a shape.
c) Commercial aircraft without lights - if it was low the silhouette would have been visible. If it was high it could not have travelled so fast - several commercial flights flew over during the time I was outside. In addition they were audible.
