What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
My girlfriend were out camping near Westhill, Aberdeenshire. The sky was clear and you could see the stars very well. I was looking at the stars and suddenly noticed that one appeared to be moving. I pointed it out to my girlfriend and she saw it too. It appeared to move at a steady rate, between one star and another. It then did the same but in the opposite direction. It did not have a shape or colour, it just looked like a star, but was moving between two points.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
No.
Any additional comments:
The object I saw could possibly be explained as an orbiting satellite, or something flying in the upper atmosphere. However, due to the way the object travelled specifically between two stars in both directions, it makes me think that this was something travelling in outer space.
