CSIGHTING DETAILS
What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
Five objects, oval, red and white lights all over with central area seemed to be rotating red flashing lights. Flying in tandem directly over head approx 2,000ft with 2-300 ft between each object.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
Flying down the flight path heading North West towards Luton. Very clear night, they travelled a few miles when an aircraft looked like it was passing across their bows, they seemed to stop and let it pass when they suddenly formed into a vertical pyramid, then disappeared one by one. My wife was witness to this as well. As they were so low it was strange there was no sound coming from them.
Any additional comments:
I spent 24 years in the RAF as an aircraft technician and know what an aircraft looks and sounds like. I have never experienced this phenomenom before, but am convinced they couldn't be any type of aircraft on our drawing boards at this time.
