SIGHTING REPORT UFO sighting at Garden Grove , Calif

All that was visible was a "diamond-shaped" light, apporx. 100 feet above ground, moving slowly, east-bound along the Garden Grove Freeway, we were west bound

We pulled off the freeway and no sound was heard. 4 individual lights were dropped from it, which I thought were flares. But each came to a stop and took off in different directions. The main light then slowly turned and headed north/northeast towards Anaheim direction. We follwed one of the samller lights west. I looked as if it headed towards the L0ong Beach Naval station. It was a clear night so we were able to track all 4 of the lights. They then all headed back N/NE. We followed in our car til we could see all 4 lights align under the main one, then they slowly lifted up, went into the main light. The Main light then took off north at a great speed.

I do not believe in little green men, however, this sighting has baffled my wife and I for years. I am a retired physician. It simply might have been some military thing, with even stealth sound-proofing, but even against the star-lit night, no shape could be seen or made out, not even the typical "black"shape against the star lit night.
