CSIGHTING DETAILS
What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
3 lights high up in sky, similar to the bright white lights on a plane, HOWEVER these were in a triangle formation and fairly stationary.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
Yes. Apart from being generally stationary, they also sparadically moved around in VERY fast circles. Given the distance (approx 1-3 miles) they/it must have been accelerating extremely fast to move in that way. The lights were there for about 30 mins, enough time to take photos, but due to the movement it came out blurred - with no other object to refer against as it was dark. Eventually they/itzoomed off very quickly.
Any additional comments:
Someone please explain what they were! I heard that the US test a lot of new aircraft in the Scottish highlands, but I'm not sure we've developed aircraft travelling at the speed of light! I also saw on my local news channel 2 weeks ago footage of exactly the same phenomenon over Hampshire (UK) - maybe they can get in touch with me?
