What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
silver with red underside.at first appearing to me as if it were a childs helium ballon?
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
object came into view at similar speed as would an approaching airliner from direction of birmingham airport and took up a hovering position[as seen from between house roofs].wife ran got binoculars, so object was stationary for about three/four minutes.object observed through lenses was seen as a double merging sphere [figure eight]but difficult to discern overall shape as kept blurring and shimmering.the object appeared to make fractional miniskips on the spot.
Any additional comments:
the object flew towards us at a clip,stopped dead,hovered on the spot for at least three minutes.it 'seemingly' faded away before my eyes but acceptedly, could have flown directly away from my line of sight.i had been sitting in the garden for a few days that week watching as the holiday jets came and went.by the time of the sighting i was quite familiar with the variety of aircraft over head
