it was a bright object viewed through the trees, a bright beam came from the object(white light)

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:

it disappeared/vanished after a few minutes after sighting

beam was directed at my right eye, not illuminating the bedroom that I was in. When I opened my eyes the beam retracted through the skylight window
