CSIGHTING DETAILS
What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
The object was very bright green and spherical.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
The object travelled at speed accross the sky infront of me at an angle of about 10 degrees and then sharply decended at 90 degrees. On it's very slow decent it emitted vertical green beems of light from either side of it before disappearing in some woodland about a mile or so away from my position.
Any additional comments:
At the time I was travelling back from Blackburn to Clitheroe going via York Village which is an unlit area of almost moorland. I could not beleive what I was seeing. At first I thought it was perhaps a shooting star or a firework, but it's behaviour did not relate to either. Some time later (about a month) a friend told me about a strange light he had seen in the sky that same evening.
