CSIGHTING DETAILS
What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
It looked quite close around 400/500m (difficult to say how far), over the city, at a reasonable hight (about as high as a block of flats or low flighing aircraft. It was a a really bright light, circular in shape, impossible to be an airoplane as it was to large and was just a circle and far far to bright. It was a orange yellow in colour. It was completly silent even though it was close.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
It just hovered in the sky it did not appear to move. as my friend got her camera out to take a photo it disapeared. it was a cloudy night but it clearly had not gone behind the cloud, it just vanished, as if someone had turned off the light.
Any additional comments:
A group of us saw it, i think i'm going mad. It was probably nothing, it's just that i've never seen anything like that before. could not be explain as an aircraft and i dismissed the theory of a blimp. Shortly after there were several low flying aricrafts (2 or 3) heading in that direction, this is quite unusual in this area, sometimes we get the odd one.
