small white sphere, very high in the sky, barely visible

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:

was stationary, then disappeared

Any additional comments:

looked up to see what i thought was a very high jet, however i then realised it was stationary and there were no vapour trails, i then watched it for around 2 minutes, then went to tell somebody else, but by the time i could find someone, it had gone (either that or i couldn't find it any more because it was so small). was very bright, silver/white
