SIGHTING REPORT UFO sighting at outside of my house

There were several objects with lights. Some flew low, some would remain stationary at times and just hover up in the sky, others flew higher. All had red, white, blue, green, yellow lights. The lights either went in a straight line or oscillated picking up speed the faster the object moved. Only one had triangular shape and about nine different colored lights, all flashing off and on at once. At times the lights would go out and the object seemed to disappear. I watched them for one and a half hours as they flew randomly around the sky from horizon to horizon, in all directions. They also appeared to move up and down pausing to imitate stars. At times it looked like they almost had midair collisions. I woke my oldest son Micah up and he witnessed them too. This "Totally freaked him." and he went back in the house and after much of his begging I finished watching from the living room picture window. There was no sound. The night was a full moon and not a cloud in the sky. We live in rural westcentral Iowa. Never seen anything like this before. There were about 12 in all. I reported this to no one else. One of the star groups in the mid eastern sky at times was made into the Dipper only a very small one. It took the objects to make the dipper complete.

Yes all of them did this.

I don't know if this is air force or something else. The technology seemed far ahead of anything I'm aware of here. They seemed to be able to cloak themselves. The could hover and appear so deceptively like a star I feel vulnerable, afraid, paniced. Are we being invaded? Or is this a grocery store...or a classrom or playground. I want my sky and stars back.
