What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:

Seemed to be a bright orange colour although this colour could have been made up by many different coloured lights.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:

No, although it travelled in silence in a straight line at speeds far in excess of any conventional aircraft I have ever seen.

Any additional comments:

I do not know of any conventional aircraft that fly at night with a very bright orange light and at the speed this craft was flying at and I am an aircraft enthusiast.
