CSIGHTING DETAILS
What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
Round, flat, orange lights on underside in the shape of a flattened star (5 pointed I think), or short rounded petals. Difficult to judge size, but looked large and far away. As it 'span' it could hardly be seen as the edge turned towards you.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
It was 'flying' in a very strange way, kind of like when you spin a coin and it's just about to stop when it's running out of kinetik energy. It did this all the time I watched it. It moved very fast SE towards La Mata. As it dissapeared from view it appeared to ascend fairly sharply.
Any additional comments:
In Rojales at the time they were gearing up towards the fiesta the following week. Lots of people must have seen it. I was with my mother at the time and she dismissed it as a balloon, but I swear I've never seen a balloon like that. I'm the most cynical and skeptical person you could meet, and I wasn't drunk either. It was too high, too fast and 'flying' far too strangely, also it had lights underneath. There was no wind at all at ground level. If it was a craft it looked like it was out of control because of the way it spun off-centre. It disturbed me. Never visited your site before, but felt I had to say something to someone.
