SIGHTING REPORT UFO sighting at in my back garden

CSIGHTING DETAILS
What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
Six orange glowing balls of light about three/four times the size of the pole star.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
travelled in a straight line then darted about in all directions. Then formend two formations of three in a "V" Shape. Then shot across the sky at amazing speed. I took about two/three seconds to cover the whole length of the sky and disappear.
Any additional comments:
I have not reported it officially until now. I did tell friends and relatives at the time and some local people but some thought I was making it up so it put me off reporting it anywhere else and I just kept my mouth shut.I did write a deatailed account of what I saw at the time so I would be able to recal the even accurately in the future if I needed to. It was a clear night sky, no clouds. They didn't flash or flicker at all like plane lights and they were much larger. It was hard to tell how high up they were in the sky, but would say about the hight of the higest plane if not a bit higher. I don't know what I saw and have always wondered if it could have been some sort of secret military aircraft.
