SIGHTING REPORT UFO sighting at Borehamwood,Hertfordshire

Very bright white object. just 1 single very bright light. smaller than a light aircraft ie Cessna 172.

no. just past directly overhead from NW to SE.

My son (11) his friend (12) and myself were in my back garden messing around with an airband radio at the above mentioned time. My house is inbetween flightpaths of Heathrow, Luton and Stanstead airports. I noticed the bright light approaching approx 20-30 degrees on the nw horizon. at first it did not strike me as odd because aircraft landing lights have this effect when heading toward you. i started to get suspicious when it got closer because no navigation lights were visible. as it passed directly overhead the object remained very bright. just before this point i thought it could be a bright satalite or something until i noticed that it passed below a small cloud. we compared it to the speed of the surrounding aircraft which there were about three at the time. the object was much faster.the other aircraft showed promenant navigational and recognition lights. the object did not increase or decrase in brightness and continued in a SW direction until out of view. My wife witnessed the object as it was moving off into the distance. no noise was heard from the object.
cloud cover was minimal (20%). low street lightning. This object must have appeared on radar.
