What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:

It was a very bright light that suddenly appeared behind me on an unlit road. I thought someone was driving extremely close to me with full beams on.It then just disappeared. This was on a straight dual-carriageway with no turn off's. It did not turn off or overtake me.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:

It dissapeared as quickly as it appeared. It just vanished.

Any additional comments:

I saw something & feel a bit of a prat telling people. This is the first time I have really said anything as I think that people will laugh at me. I cannot explain where the light came from or where it went; it was really dazzling; just like full beams on a car. It could not have been though as it appeared on a long straight road with no turnings & just disappeared.
