What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
We only saw bright orange-ish lights like large spotlights. It was over the ocean, so there was no way to tell how close or large it was.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
The UFO followed the coast line seemingly very slowly. I at first thought it was a strange airplane. It completely stopped moving and when my friend said "what the hell is that?", it blinked off. It left a slight spiral trail. Almost looking light sprinkles of light in a spiral shape.
Any additional comments:
After we gained our composure, we returned to our balcony to watch the sky again and for the rest of our vacation. That was the first time we had seen a light of any kind "fly" with the coast in the many years that we have gone to Myrtle Beach. We didn't see anything more the rest of the week. Just wanted to know if anyone else saw something that night.
