What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:

It was a large bright light that looked like a star from a distance but it then started to move across the sky from west to east flying directly above the village I live in. It was flying quite low and making no noise at all.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:

It flew in a straight line at a constant speed, not stopping at all! To fast to be a plane, to slow to be a shooting star!!!

Any additional comments:

Never thought I'd see one, but no I have seen one I want to see another!
