White bright light over the solent between Ryde and Gosport

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:

Hovered then went straight up and faded away into the haze.

Any additional comments:

a couple of months ago I saw over Gosport a yellow bright light that turned to a bright red flashy light that disappeared into itself. And a week later a white lighted craft flew over the beach about 1am with no flashing marker lights or noise, it was close not far away like a satelite.
