CSIGHTING DETAILS

What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:

Only saw a light, moving very slowly at first. I thought it was a search and rescue helicopter, except there was no noise. It was looking about with a searchlight. (I was night fishing)

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:

It got nearer and nearer, still looking about with a searchlight.
Then the searchlight caught me looking at it. I was going to wave, but before my hand could get up to do so, it was far away in the sky, and vanished. Far too fast to be anything terrestrial.

I wasn't dreaming!
