constant orange/red ball of light,no flashing lights just constant orange/red

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:

Dissaperd right in front of my eyes after 10 or 20 seconds of first sighting.Then after 2or3 mins reaperd in front of me.Seemed as it was on a constant course at first wen it first dissaperd,but wen it reaperd it was stationary for long enough for me to get my binoculers out(i was at home at the time looking up out of a sky light)wen i zoomed in it looked like a red fire half moon now going away from me at a steady pace.wierd and cool

Any additional comments:

This was my first propper sighting as im allways looking up at the sky, i live in west london so i can see planes lining up to go in to and out of heathrow airport.So ive been looking at planes and helicopters in the sky day and night for a long time so im very confident about my knowledge of light patterns in the sky.This 1 was unlike anything i have ever seen.
