CSIGHTING DETAILS
What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
It was rugby ball shaped, black, with with a stripe of lights which seemed to flash and flicker randomly along it's length in red and white.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
It moved really slowly to the left, then back to the right again, then the lights went off and i couldn't see it anymore. I ran to tgrab the camera but wheni went back out I couldn't see it.

Just really happy that I've seen one at long last! :-)
I initially thought it was helicopter, as we get a lot around here as they escort vans to the prison at Full Sutton, but no, it was silent. I normally hear a helicopter long before I can see one.
