Very high altitude, bright orange as if burning like a flame.
Connsistantly flying in straight line, slowing once. Did not fade. Very large.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
Slowed down, but appeared to remain samehight and brightness.
No comet tail.
Light appeared to be downwards instead of behind direction of travel.

Not a comet or asteroid. Convinced me of UFO's. Laurence had only just recently described simular sighting that lasted only a few seconds.
