What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:

circularish in shape, looked like somthing on fire, in initially thought it was a meteor or a comet, but no tail could be seen.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:

when i first saw the object it was in the sky, slightly south of my position, the object moved in a line from north to south, it stayed roughly on the same track with the exception of a couple of slight deviattions to the left but wasnt very noticable, the longer i looked at it the smaller it got. Just wondering if it was a chineese lantern or somthing similar?
