Orange glowing bright light loked round from a far but when iwas closer seemed diamond shaped.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:

When returning home from my Mum's place in Palmers Green North London around 7.15pm on Saturday evening it was raining and extremely cold so we hurried into the car.
As I started the engine I looked ahead and saw a bright orange light hovering over the trees in the park at the top of the road.
I thought it was a firework so I told my five year old to take a look at it but then it started to move.
It ascended slightly and then glided at an angle towards us over the street and headed in a southerly direction.
I lowered my window to check if I could hear an engine or some sound but here was nothing. This confused me as it was moving so quickly, quietly and was giving off this orange glow. It seemed to have a peculiar shape that I did not recognise either - almost like a diamond.
I could not take a picture as it moved too quickly. The whole episode lasted around 2 minutes
I just wondered if anyone else saw the same thing on Saturday evening? Or if here is some reasonable explanation.
