Bright orange circular light, possibly with small tail. High in night sky.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:

Yes, seemed to hover then made samll circling movement before zooming off south easterly very quickly disappearing.

Any additional comments:

I was driving at night in easterly direction. Stopped car and got out to look. Another car coming in other direction did the same, asked me what it was. No sound. It was a dry, still night with full moon.
