4 bright lights orange looked like aroplane light but moved in a patern then dissapered as if you were turning a light off

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:

they looked like four helicopter lights at first then they begane to move as if they were creating a pattern

who do you tell this time of night it was just after midnight on new years eve .i feel really stupid telling my family , they laughed at me .
