bright orange orb

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:

we were looking at fireworks for new years celebrations and this object stood out because it was just hovering,it then darted left, then right, then accelerated up into oblivion and eventually disappeared. this thing was definately not a firework

I WAS NOT DRINKING ALCOHOL AS I WAS BABYSITTING FOR TWO KIDS. i can honestly state that what we saw was not a man made object
