CSIGHTING DETAILS
What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
Initially saw what looked like an aircraft with 2 orange lights at the front of it. It came in a straight line quite slowly from a few miles away(I live high up in the middle of the country so can see for miles)and came near to our town and disappeared(I assumed into cloud). I realised that there was another following a mile or so behind and another at the same distance, in all about 5 or 6. They all disappeared at the same point. They all had 2 bright orange lights to the front and were completely silent. It was a clear evening and very calm and I could hear distant New Year revellers in the distance, some miles away.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
No they were going in a straight line all following each other at similar distance.

I took a couple of photos but they are not too clear. I wish I had videoded them now. I am sure there must be a simple explanation somewhere!!!!
