CSIGHTING DETAILS
What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
We saw 3 in total (see additional comments), bright orange glows that were at least car sized and moved at about 40 - 50mph traveling from north to south and gradually gaining height for a hill (approx. 800ft high) approx. 1 mile away.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
It seemed to be going too slowly for anything other than a helicopter but was large (at least car sized) and very close.
Any additional comments:
We saw 2 orange lights, which crossed our path then appeared to fly along side us. We turned off from the Main road A338 (Hungerford to Salisbury road) towards Ham to stop and look at the lights. I turned of the engine as I wanted to see if they were helicopters and to my complete amazment another one appeared. I asked my partner to get out of the car as the other 2 orange lights disappeared but the new one was very close. As we could see the trejectory I estimate it was only about 200-300m away, flying at approx. 40mph and no more than 50m from the ground. I took a picture with my phone and was worried enough to get into the car and drive off at speed.
