Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
It was spotted high in the sky at 21:00hrs through a night sight which we used for surveylance while I was in the forces, the UFO gradually settled down on the horizon which we picked it up on our forces Decca Marine Radar at 34KM out, it followed the path of any ship that entered the straights of Gibraltar for a few KM's and then returned to almost the exact location and repeated this when another ship came by. The UFO just completely dissappeared at 05:00am

We logged this in our log book which was used to enter boat activity,
when we asked about any training or flight activity we were told there were none that night and the airport was closed at 20:30pm that
night, we also enquired if it could of been a helcopter and was answered no due to the amount of time it was hovering and flying,
My wife and daughter has seen a strange orange light on the 24th at 19:15pm December 2008 and people from a Bar were stood out side pointing and looking up at it, she never beleived my story of when I was in the forces but now has changed her mind after her experience.
